The Lego NXT Wall-E transformable robot is fully self controlled It uses Lego Mindstorms programming environment. It is for all I know the first Lego build look-alike wall-e which is capable to transform automated. This transformation is quite similar to the way the original wall-e does it. [Via The NXTStep]
I haven’t much use for those fancy new “Air Multiplier” bladeless fans by British entrepreneur James Dyson, but this publicity stunt, in which dozens of the units are used to guide a neutral-buoyancy balloon around a complex warehouse “race track,” is admittedly pretty cool.
