Make:cast – A Podcast about the Ideas, People and Projects in the Maker Movement

Make:Cast is a podcast from Make:Community (make.co), producers of Make: Magazine and Maker Faire, and hosted by Dale Dougherty. It is really a podcast about know-how — learning how we do things that make the world and our own lives better – and why?

  • How are makers and makerspaces engines for economic growth that help create a more open and equitable economy?
  • How can makerspaces play a larger role in social and economic transformation?
  • How can hands-on learning (learning by doing) become central to education, and if not in the school system itself then provided as alternatives to traditional education?
  • How can we grow and strengthen the maker community?
