The piece is currently on display at Eyebeam Center for Art and Technology in NYC as part of the “Untethered” show which opened on Thursday and runs until October 25th.

Rachel spotted this great upcycling tutorial for making a portable art studio. Mayaluna discovered an old crafty book with instructions for how to make a portable tabletop easel from an old box. She added her own instructions for turning a milk carton into a paint caddy.
Andrea at Heavy Petal re-made a second-hand metal-framed loveseat and chair into sturdy patio pieces by stripping them down, adding cedar slats, and weather-resistant cushions. The cushions are the same type of foam used for seats on boats, covered with Sunbrella fabric.
