PG52’s Lego Spirograph (website is in French) sports four speeds for the board rotation and four for the arms. I love the complicated gearbox that enables the whole operation to run off of a single motor.

San Francisco’s landmark museum of science, art, and human perception re-opens its doors this week at a new, spectacular location on the downtown waterfront. Tim Hunkin’s new clock steals the show, but the new ginormous parabolic mirror is a close second. Sushi and cocktail bar a close third!

Brooklyn based artist Kevin Cyr seems to be thinking fairly deeply about commercial vehicles, and vehicles as housing. But he doesn’t just draw them, he also builds them. He built a “sculptural piece” that any maker would be proud to have built, it’s an RV mounted on a bike frame; it’s a Camper Bike.

This paper cave that I came across on PleatFarm is such a rad modern installation. Created by Wendy Plomp and Edhv collaborated to create this 3D Paper Cave installation at the Verger shop in Milan. I want to hie away in it forevs!
