It’s been a while but the most popular version of the Ultimate Microcontroller Pack is back in stock in the Maker Shed! The Ultimate Microcontroller Pack with Arduino Uno includes everything you need to dive right into the world of microcontollers. The 100+ components include everything from servos to an LCD screen to allow you to complete nearly any online tutorial without having to source individual parts.
Sophisticated. Elegant. Open Source. The iNecklace, now available in the Maker Shed, is a gorgeously machined aluminum pendant with a subtle pulsating LED. Made for women who celebrate art, science, engineering and great design.
The new UartSBee V3.1 from the Maker Shed is a dual use Xbee adapter / FTDI programmer. The USB port allows you to hook XBee modules up to your computer for programming and wireless linking. It’s like a little Swiss Army knife for Xbees and programming.

Infrared light may be invisible to the human eye – but it’s usefulness in the world of electronics is easy to see. IR emitters & detectors can be used in a variety of different ways – most of us use them for wireless communication everyday.
The next generation Proto-Screw Shield from the Maker Shed is a dual-purpose prototyping shield for Arduino. Not only does it have a large 0.1″ grid prototyping area but it also extends the Arduino pins to sturdy, secure, and dependable screw terminal blocks. You even get a few bonus terminals for extra GND and four ‘free’ terminals for whatever connections you wish!
When I was a kid, I worshiped the 1960s Ford Mustangs. I made every model of them I could get my hands on. I could still probably trace the outlines of one in my sleep and tell you what was on the sprues. So, I have to say, the idea of buying one of these full-size body repros of the 65 (for $15K) and then adding my own hunted down engine, axles, interior, etc. looks like a fun, albeit ambitious, project.
