Pentium-La-Frecventa-De-7Ghz-2 Not a lot of details on the cooling system, but an incredible feat… The processor in question is a Pentium 4 670 Prescott, whose speed was designed by Intel at 3.8 GHz. The system used by the Japanese to push things to the limit is built around an ASUS P5WD2 motherboard with two 512 MB RAM CORSAIR PC2-5400UL modules of memory, and the cooling system was ARC Pot Revc.12.1xe LN2; the operating system installed on the system was Windows Server 2003. After the preparations were done, the Pentium 4 670 Prescott processor reached 7132.82 MHz (375,4 MHz FSB x 19). [via] Link.

Dsc02660 The first thing you need to bend acrylic is an acrylic bender. You can buy one for 200 dollars or you can build one. I suggest building one since it is a lot cheaper. I built mine using a heating element strapped to a board. All of which I purchased at a local supplier. The element sits between two boards that are attached to a main board with a gap between. The element sits about 1/4″ down from the top surface of these boards. This way you can heat the plastic without melting it to the element. I covered the boards in tin foil to help protect them from the heat and also to reflect the heat more toward the acrylic… Thanks jher! [via] Link.

The software component analyzes a picture taken by a web camera (or just about any other image source), creates a unique line drawing from that analysis, and exports a point list that corresponds to the points that make up the lines.
