Project Steps

Strip wires.

Strip a small section of insulation from a ground wire and power wire, approximately 3 mm.

Crimp the pin on the wire.

Crimp the end of the wire into the female pin. This can be done using a $15 set of crimpers (shown) or pliers.

Insert into housing.

Insert the crimped connector into the housing. Power (red) should be on top, nearest the clip, and ground (green) should be on the bottom.

Crimp the other wire, and insert it into the housing.

Attach to power board.

Insert the connector into the power board. Again, power on top, ground on the bottom.
