As far as superheroines go, Wonder Woman is probably one of the most notorious ones of all time (and my favorite!). For Wonder Woman’s upcoming 75th anniversary (Wonder Woman first appeared December 1941!), I wanted to make something to show off my love of Wonder Woman, along with my love of the art style of the old comics. I just adore those bright yellows, reds, blues, and whites, and defined black lines.

My Wonder Woman coaster set star pattern is based on the Bernat Star Blanket from Yarnspirations, using one color change. The pattern is written using the standard crochet abbreviations listed below. The pattern will be simple for anyone with a knowledge of slip stitch and double crochet. The finished star measures 5½× 5½” when complete.

List of Abbreviations

ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
dc – double crochet
* * – repeat from * to *
