toolstorage DiResta: Rolling Tool Cabinet

I want the ability to move my storage around to re-arrange my shop and the tools as necessary. So I am revising the the way I store my tools and supplies. I am going modular, and avoiding built-in shelves. I looked around a few stores to purchase “closets,” but I couldn’t find a simple cabinet that was affordable and durable. Solution: Make my own!

Here you see me use about 1 sheet of 3/4 inch plywood, and 2 sheets of 1/2 inch MDF. I had an old set of drawers in the shop collecting dust. I decided to put the draws inside to keep clean mobile. Enjoy !

Supplies
1 3/4″ plywood
2 1/2″ MDF
4 casters from the trash
1 set of drawers from the trash
Hardware

Tools
Kreg jig
Table saw
DeWalt track saw
Drill
Screw gun
Nail gun

In each episode of DiResta (every other Wednesday), artist and master builder Jimmy DiResta (Dirty MoneyHammeredAgainst the GrainTrash for Cash) lets us into his workshop, to look over his shoulder while he builds whatever strikes his fancy.
