It’s impressive to watch this timelapse video wherein Liu Xinying builds his own iPad clone from computer parts. It appears as though the tablet is running Windows XP, skinned to look like Mac OS X. Liu demos the tablet with web browsing, Google Earth, and a iBooks-like application.
Well, well! At the beginning of the year, Make posted about the inaugural Google Science Fair. Six months later, I’m happy to report that the gals swept the top prizes! The projects are nothing short of amazing – top-winning Shree Bose, 17-18 age group, studied how to improve ovarian cancer treatment. Amazing!
