A Pac Man guitar, built on a bet– “Not only can I build it, I can make the headstock blink as well!” A variable-speed knob is located on the eyeball so you can synchronize the blinker to the beat. There is also an emergency push-button kill switch (another request of the client). I hope he makes some blue ghost bass guitars too. [via] Link.
Duck Tape brand Duct tape had a contest for the best prom attire made out of duct tape. The results are incredible. Does the outfit have to be made entirely out of duct tape? No, the entire outfit does not have to be 100% duct tape. However, if you look at past winners you will see that full duct tape attire was a plus. Link.
The PSP-Dev team appears to be at it again. This is directly from their website: “Several days ago we released the swaploit (15-Jun) , some of sceners got satisfied but some of you tell us to do it better. Today we are proud to announce that in a few days you will get a new hit from Killer-X and PsP-Dev Team…” The release is scheduled for June 22nd 12:00 GMT+2. They’ve also released a video demonstrating the direct boot method – no swap trick! Our previous HOWTO. Link.
New site/update from SYSTM! Small wireless cameras have become increasingly popular in the past few years. They are used to monitor activity around homes and businesses in an effort to attain an extra hint of security. Most of these types of cameras, however, are unencrypted so their signals can be picked up by anyone with a compatible, off the shelf, receiver. Link.
Misticriver.net has the specs of the new iRiver u10- it’s a little video/music player but a couple things caught my eye. It plays OGG and it also can play TXT (text files) as well as support Flash Lite 1.1. This is a bit of a big deal. Anyone can not only throw ebooks on this little fellow but, with Flash Lite 1.1 you could potentially develop a lot of games, applications and interactive learning content. Anyway, glad to see there’s an easy way to make applications for a portable media player finally coming out. Link.
