Little Crochet: Modern Designs for Babies and Toddlers is a new book by one of our favorite crochet designers and CRAFT contributor, Linda Permann. We are so excited to be today’s stop in the book’s blog tour and to offer up a project excerpt, these adorable Cozy Crawlers Leg Warmers. The projects in this book are some of the most stylish fashions I’ve ever seen for kids age 0-4+. Plus, I love that there are beautiful patterns for both girls and boys. You usually can’t find many stylish boy patterns, so I am really happy with the variety of handsome little boy looks. There are some great quick projects such as washcloths or applique pieces that are perfect to make as quick gifts.

Hello! thanks for posting the tutorial for the leg warmers- they are so cute! im attempting to make them now, and usually a pattern starts with chaining but that is not mentioned in the directions…. am i missing something?
In case someone else wonders the same thing, the foundation double crochet is a chainless stitch. Look it up. There’s some tutorials on it.
These are so cute! The pattern was featured today on Moogly! http://www.mooglyblog.com/crochet-leg-warmers-patterns-kids/
