I can identify with Stacie of Stars for Streetlights t-shirt hoarding problem. My own t-shirt collection was the inspiration for my t-shirt scarf a few years ago. Her mom made an epic blanket out of much of Stacie’s t-shirt collection, and now Stacie breaks down how to make one for yourself. WOW! So cool!
I have done this for years for clients and also repaired a few that we’re family treasures from old clothing. My clients are always suggesting me to their friends for college quilts.
I think I will do this with my son’s t-shirts, he has sooo many.. I have also heard of people taking clothes from mom & dad(grandparents) to make a quilt for a grandchild..And also taking clothes of lost love ones and making a quilt..I think they are all great, I just have to get to making one instead of putting it off..
