Cross Stitching on Cards: Animals with Sweaters

Print out an adorable animal card to practice your cross stitching skills!

This is a great mixed media craft for older kids and adults to try. I like that it doesn’t require use of fabric or an embroidery hoop since you are printing it out on sturdy card stock. There’s no messing around with tension or counting out your holes. The template is still flexible enough to allow you to create your own sweater designs — how fun!

This is a perfect little project to tuck away into your day bag. Take it out whenever you have some downtime, like on the bus ride home, while getting your car washed, or even while you’re waiting for the kettle to boil. When you’re done, pass on the love and share it with a friend. I bet they won’t be able to resist the cuteness and will want to make their own too!
