I loved the idea of being a detective as a kid (hellooo, Nancy Drew) so this Cookie Magazine tutorial on DIY detective invitations by Jordan Ferney of Oh Happy Day made me smile. I love that you have to read the tiny print invite with the magnifying glass.

I think this idea is so creative – thanks for sharing! Not only would it make great birthday party invitations, but I think it could also be adapted to be just a fun detective mission for a child to do in general – with clues scattered throughout the home to find, leading up to a prize.
