Has anyone read On a Winter’s Night a Traveler?
There is a character who builds sculptures out of books and has taught himself not to read.
Interesting!
Rather than face the stigma of burning the books the state finds offensive, they hit upon the wonderful idea of using them as raw materials for sculpture. In the end, the result is the same, the books are no longer readable.
