I’m always in awe of the clever, beautiful projects Jeffrey Rudell posts over on CraftStylish. Rudell’s Valentine project is no exception. He show’s how to create custom, textured paper from the piece of produce that usually has you in tears: the onion. But the only tears cried over this project will be tears of joy over the results of this interesting process. I was amazed by the beauty of the burnished onion skins. Enjoy!

I would probably cry over this, since I’m allergic to onions.
That being said, this is very creative and beautiful. :) I suppose I could do the same with dried flower petals or leaves, something with a similar texture.
