The FilaDC i10 filament dehumidifying cabinet from Inslogic and Sunlu is a nice addition to my 3D printing supplies. It uses passive drying to quietly keep humidity levels instead of the usual heaters, or in their words, “Unlike traditional hot-air drying solutions, the i10 introduces a PTC + molecular sieve dual-effect dehumidification technology that enables room-temperature, non-damaging drying.” That means it’s gentler on filaments and uses less power than your average dryer. It also stores up to 10 spools.

It was nicely packaged and very easy to set up, since there was only a cord to plug into the back and a switch to turn it on. The instructions were simple to understand and covered everything I would ever want to know about filament dehydrating. It even had a handy table for humidity levels for different items. The cabinet is easy to set to your desired humidity level, and seemed to get to that level pretty quickly for my five spools of filament that I thought could use some drying. I saw a difference in my prints with prior stringing issues; after drying my filament in the cabinet those issues disappeared.

One cool thing is that it will get to the set humidity percentage and turn off, but then restart to hold that humidity. It is very quiet while it’s running as well. Overall, I would recommend this dehumidifying cabinet to any 3D printer owner.
