Last year I posted this super cool wire-bending CNC.
D.I.Wire Bender is a rapid prototype machine that bends metal wire to produce 2D and 3D shapes, pushing the limits of what can be produced in different materials, forms, and methods, anywhere from a model shop to your home.
The creators have published an Instructable showing how to build your own. It’s open source! More resources can be found on Google Code. [via EMSL]

Would it be possible for you guys to not count pingbacks in the comment count on the front page? I see so many posts that say “1 Comment” but then after clicking through hoping to find the start of an interesting discussion (like I did on this post) I discover it’s only a pingback from someone reposting on their own site.
