The North East Ohio region is absolutely bubbling with events today to celebrate the National Day of Making. With local events happening at Case Western Reserve University, the Great Lakes Science Center, Ingenuity Cleveland, Lorain County Community College, Cleveland Public Library, and Youngstown State University, there is plenty to choose from.
If you can’t make it to any of these locations in person, or simply don’t want to leave your workshop, you can join a moderated Google+ hangout today at 4PM (CST).
President Obama is hosting the first-ever White House Maker Faire on June 18 to recognize the contributions of makers who bring creativity and technical ability to a broad range of projects. If you are a maker or a friend of makers, please become an advocate for expanding opportunities for making and makers in your community.
To show your support for growing the maker community, we encourage you to sign the “Building Maker Communities” pledge and put yourself on the map!
