My goal is to have a pointing device (first thought on the subject is a track ball) but really the main thing that it needs to be is something that is hard-wired (USB … or?)
to a laptop and will serve the function as a pointing device, and must be small … usable on an airplane.
in flight work getting done, and is so much easyer if there is a mouse or tackball involved.
any help here, is there any precident for turning a mouse over and using the ball like a track-ball?
    or?
