The first UK Maker Faire will take place in Newcastle 14-15 March 2009 as part of Newcastle ScienceFest – a 10 day festival celebrating creativity and innovation. The call for Crafty Makers is in full swing, so our UK crafty cohorts can head over to the Maker Faire UK web site to submit their application. The deadline for submitting is midnight, February 2. Be sure to read through the Maker Manual for full details on application and demo requirements.
