Sarah of Handmade Homeschool shares a recipe for making sugarplums. Finally! I can explain to my kids what sugarplums are when we read, “The Night Before Christmas.” Bonus: they are actually healthy snacks!

Oh my, those look scrumptious!
These do look yummy – sugarplums are a type of real fruit too though. They’re more oval in shape than regular plums and sweeter.
I made these and they were a big hit. I will be definitely making them a part of my annual X-mas cookie tray offering. Next time, though, I will make a batch for my personal “secret cookie stash.” They are very addictive!
These actually don’t look very yummy to me..But yet again I am a picky eater.. Haha! But I will be sure to try making some and find out if they taste better than they look (But they do look and sound fattening A.K.A. sugar!)
