Have good climbing trees in your backyard? Make those first few branches a bit easier for your little acrobats to reach with this fantastic rope and wood tree ladder tutorial from Brianna at Adrift in My Mind!

Instead of going out and buying a ladder I decided to make one. This isn’t my typical “woodworking” project in that I only had to make few small cuts with a chop saw but it was fun nevertheless! And it was as simple as could be.

Of course, this tutorial assumes that you have both kids and trees, and that you won’t mind if said kids climb those trees. But, as with most DIY projects involving adventurous kids, you’ll obviously want to keep your own family’s individual comfort and safety needs in mind.
