Chair from old metal sign

Instuctables user wholman (out of Arcosanti, AZ) whipped up a how-to for this chair made from an old metal sign. Looks like a lot of his projects are made from signs featuring the name of a relative of his!

nothing like insurance advertisements to make the living room/den/porch/bedroom/garage/basement/bungalow cozy…

but seriously though: they forgot the step where you drill a small hole in the seat to accommodate a hypodermic needle that supplies the sitter with a tetanus booster each time they take a load off.

that all being said, i’m pretty inspired. i’ve got an idea for a chair made of old broken glass bottles. time to fire up the glue gun…

Boris Bally has been making chairs from old metal signs for years. If you are interested in seeing what can really be done with them, check him out.
