From time to time I find good trash in and around New York City. Here you see the love seat I found in the trash, during a heavy rain, which caused heavy stains. To make it more in the style of my house in the Catskills I used burlap to reupholster the seat. I tore open the sides revealing the anatomy, and to get at the spots where the fabric is attached. This is not a full proper reupholster job; this is a down and dirty re-cover to update the look and texture, and it’s something most people can do with simple skills. I use hot glue and staples and few simple techniques. Enjoy!
Materials:
Old love seat from the trash
4 yards of burlap fabric
Cardboard
Staples
Spray glue
