Folks in Los Angeles will get their chance to view the documentary of the DIY movement in America, Handmade Nation, this weekend at Cinefamily. The first screening will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, Faythe Levine. A mini craft fair with hands-on demos will span the afternoon between 2:00 and 6:00 before that evening’s screening at 7:00 PM. On Sunday, August 16, there will be four additional screenings at 3:00, 5:00, 7:00 and 9:00. The LA premiere is co-presented by The Cinefamily, Home Ec. and ReForm School. Saturday, August 15: 12 noon premiere ($25), 7pm ($12)
Sunday, August 16: 3pm, 5pm, 7pm, 9pm (all regular screenings @ $12)
