Fans of the Stencil 101 book by Ed Roth will have the chance to meet the author and print Obama-themed tote bags at the Post-Inauguration Parties this weekend in San Francisco. See details listed below.
If you aren’t in the San Francisco area, though, or can’t make one of those parties – don’t fret! You can still have some fun with the Stencil 101 book. The folks at Chronicle are offering a copy of the book for two luck Craftzine readers. Simply comment on this post (be sure to include an email address where we can reach you) by 12:00 PM PST on Thursday, January 29 and we’ll pick a winner to receive a copy of Stencil 101.

Yet another reason to move to SF…
I’ve been experimenting with home-made stencils on t-shirts, but would love to try out some more professional ones and see how i can improve my designs. When i get good enough i want to stencil a bedspread for our bed and make original t-shirts!
Snowbound in NH–can barely make it down the street, let alone CA. But this awesome book would be great in our studio, where I just shovelled a path to! Thanks! punwitmail@yahoo.com
I’d love a copy!

This book looks really cool. Please enter me in the contest.
I saw this book at the store last week and I wanted it badly! But I am a poor art student. I hope that the signing/parties go well, I wish I was anywhere near close enough to the area to go make some cool stuff with stencils.
