I’m taking a new approach to the CRAFT Flickr pool weekly roundup by showcasing this week’s awesome photos all at once instead of throughout the week. Let me know if you like it this way!
Eric Sæter from Seattle’s been working on a cast bronze brass ring whose design mimics mineral deposits.
CRAFT pal Moxie (also in Seattle) has been working on a figurative self portrait in felt.
Chica and Jo made this skyline cutout with their Cricut machine to give this lampshade a nighttime cityscape effect when it’s on.
CRAFT contributor Jenny Ryan snapped this photo of MAKE editor-in-chief Mark Frauenfelder learning to sew in L.A. at Sewing 101 class at Home Ec.
Michelle Mitchell from Anchorage, AK made this scorpion cake for her 10 year-old’s birthday.
And, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Flickr user addenda won’t just give you her heart, she’ll give you all of her organs! In cookie form, that is.

When you do this, could you link from the pictures as well? Especially considering that doing so is part of the Flickr usage agreement.
i think its better spread out throughout the week!
just my 2 cents
@Sara We don’t make images into links here on CRAFT, but all the links below each photo do link to their Flickr pages! Anyway, I’d only be violating Flickr’s community guidelines if I were using the image hosted by Flickr. We host our own images, so there’s no problem: “The Flickr service makes it possible to post content hosted on Flickr to outside web sites. However, pages on other web sites that display content hosted on flickr.com must provide a link from each photo or video back to its page on Flickr.” Thanks for your input!
Thanks, sewie, I’m just trying it out so I definitely might change it up!
this is much better! i usually skip over the weekly roundups because i’ve seen everything already. i like having everything mashed up all at once. like dessert at the end of the week.
Where can I get basic carpentry skills?
Hi there are using WordPress for your site
platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and create my own.
Do you require any html coding knowledge to make your
own blog? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Undeniably consider that which you stated.
Your favourite reason appeared to be at the web the simplest
thing to be mindful of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while other folks consider worries
that they plainly don’t recognise about. You managed to hit
the nail upon the highest and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects
, other people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more.
Thanks
