I have two young children, and I love finding fun craft projects to try with them, especially during the summer months. However, I realize that sometimes I just get excited about the long list of “things” we can do and make, and don’t take the time to slow down and realize how the time we spend together can create something much more meaningful: a closer relationship with my kids. Make and Takes has a great post on how to use crafting with your kids as a way to develop your relationship with your kids. I love the few simple steps you can take to see past the glue and glitter and get to the real heart of crafting with your children.
