Amy wrote in about Danny Seo’s project where he turned old cds into dumbbells. No tools are required and with just 150 CDs, a threaded rod and bolts you can make a 10 pound weight.

    Um, I guess 10 pounds is not too much weight, but you’re gunna want pretty tough hands to use this dumbell, given the threaded rod handles. My office-worker-soft hands would be pretty sore at the end of the workout. Maybe some tape or foam around the handles?
