I am pretty sure this has been on Make before. Saying that it does work pretty well. I used it when restoring an old drill press someone rescued from a dumpster and gave to me and that came up beautifully. It seems to work well on cast parts where it can be hard to remove surface rust due to the metals rough surface.
This is not recycling. This will not save the earth. This is not green. Stop it.
