How-To: Tiny Stocking Ornaments

Some of the CRAFT team members decided to have a last-minute handmade ornament exchange this year. Ok, I’m the person guilty of tossing out the idea that we should all make ornaments for each other with less than two weeks to Christmas. I know it was an insane thing to suggest, but most of us agreed that there is something really fun about crafting on a tight deadline. I went in search of a cute ornament that I could whip up multiples of in a very short time, and that would be easy and inexpensive to ship since our team spreads from California to New York. Just in the nick of time, Susan from West Coast Crafty posted up a perfect ornament tutorial. These tiny little stockings come together quickly and easily and are a great way to use up scraps of fabric. I love, too, that on some of them she’s stitched sweet little running stitches on the ribbon hangers. I hope the rest of the team doesn’t mind the spoiler alert, ’cause these are what they are getting from me!
