KiX Cereal is “kid-tested, mother-approved”, and you might even say that it’s MAKE-approved, too. Last week, KiX hosted a wonderful hands-on event called the KiX Creativity Lab for about 100 of its employees and their children at its headquarters in Minneapolis. Along with a few other great organizations, MAKE had the opportunity to engage kids in fun, open-ended activities that allowed them to use their imaginations, explore their creativity, and of course, make!
Look for KiX at the 2013 World Maker Faire New York on Sept. 21-22 at the New York Hall of Science. They’ll be sponsoring the creativity-filled Nerdy Derby, a lighthearted mini-car building and racing competition where makers, young and old, can create their own cars out of any interesting and repurposed materials.
