Maker Faire Africa. Ghana, Aug 13-15

Maker Faire Africa is a “celebration of African ingenuity, innovation and invention, that will take place August 13-15 at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT in Ghana’s capital, Accra.” It is not an official Maker Faire event, but it has our blessing.

Many of the African makers we’ve featured here on the site, often via posts from Afrigadget, have been invited to the event. Our pals over at Afrigadget are part of the organizing team for the Faire. We can’t wait to see how everything plays out. They’re looking for sponsorships and donations, so check out the site for more details.
