We’ve seen Love at First Maker, but had yet to experience a honeymoon at Maker Faire. Until now. AtFab’s Anne Filson and Gary Rohrbacher got married this morning at San Francisco City Hall before traveling to the San Mateo Event Center to assemble their Open Source Living Room for the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth! After being together for more than 20 years, Anne and Gary decided to officially tie the knot, planning their union around Maker Faire Bay Area and its proximity to San Francisco where they lived for some time.

Make: is a big supporter of AtFab, using their designs at our Providence office. Look for their project this weekend in The Yard, the area immediately between the Show Barn and the Meeting Pavilion at Maker Faire Bay Area. And again congratulations to Anne and Gary. Now all that remains is a wedding at Maker Faire (with telepresence officiating and robot ring bearer!).

What will the next generation of Make: look like? We’re inviting you to shape the future by investing in Make:. By becoming an investor, you help decide what’s next. The future of Make: is in your hands. Learn More.
