Preview of The Summer of Making Series in Portland

Summer of Making explores the confluence of art, design and craft, while fostering a community of makers. … We bring together the PNCA mission of excellence and innovation in arts education with the flourishing Portland DIY ethos of creating and community building.

Diane Gilleland of Crafty Pod will be teaching a course on podcasting, and Sarah Schlosser-Moon of Sewer-Sewist will teach a course on artful blogging. Other courses include contemporary fiber arts and needlework and macrame. Maybe I’ll be heading back to Portland sooner than I thought ….
