The lights are out, the doors are locked, the diet coke is all mopped up or washed away, and the curtain has come down on the eighth annual Bay Area Maker Faire.
MFBA 2013 marks the sixteenth “flagship” Maker Faire since the very first event back in 2006, and the first since MAKE parent company Maker Media was spun off from O’Reilly Media. Warm and heartfelt thanks to all the makers, volunteers, visitors, sponsors, and staff who helped make this one of the greatest Faires ever. It was a beautiful weekend. See you in New York in four months!
P.S. Can’t wait that long? Licensed Mini Maker Faires happen several times a month in cities all over the world! Check now to find the next event closest to you!

Good share
Thanks
It’s Monday morning and I’m still beat, and I’m going to miss it all until next year. I was there working our booth for SVEC on both days, plus wandered around seeing everything (but not able to absorb it all from arduino to sewing). I did a few video interviews from PhoneSat to SCRAP.
I’m exhausted and sunburned and had a great time again this year. Thanks for bringing the awesome!
You guys are the best! While many of us panicked and flailed to set up our stuff, every member of the Faire crew was perpetually helpful, calm and Got Things Done.
