After attending the Maker Faire for a few years, nine year old Isaac Benson decided it was time to become a maker himself. He learned how to make survival bracelets and thought he could sell them at the Faire. He made a sign, packed his toolbox, and found himself a spot next to his mom’s paper crafting workshop. He explained to people how he made the bracelets and what they are used for. He gained the experience of seeing people enjoy what he’d made.
This year at the Maker Faire Bay Area, Isaac and his mom Tami Jo will host a new Maker Kids Market for budding makers interested in selling their creations at the event.
