
Using TouchOSC on an iPhone alongside Processing and an Arduino, Chris Rojas made this awesome Xbee controlled tank that runs on solar power. He lists all of the parts required for the project on his site and even provides the code to get you up and running with your very own iPhone controlled tank!

Hey! Very nice controller, i like it. I worked on something very similar in august, mostly from sparkfun products. I control mine via computer. The control software was written in C# with gtk# for gui.. so that it works in linux and windows (same binary, no changes needed).
Are you planning on adding sensors to it? I am planning on sharp IR and simple front bumper sensors. A camera would be great but seems out of reach because of the Xbee bandwidth.

I’m not planning to add any sensors to it because it’s part of a larger project to motion track it using Processing and Community Core Vision so that I can project on it from above and virtually fire weapons at other robots…so I might even dumb it down to a lower cost setup.
