With Bill Nye’s Paper Recycling Factory, recycling is literally (supposed to be) fun. Of course, DIY options abound. Either way, old newspapers are a much more environmentally-sound (and often safer) toy input than some things you’d find on store shelves.

I had this picked out for a holiday gift, but then realized it had been opened and pieces were missing. I am still waiting for my local toy shop to get it back in stock.
Then again it’s pretty easy to do without the kit.
The traditional order of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” was changed for this product. It’s a bit offensive that recycling was bumped up the list when the real focus should be on reducing and reusing.
