Why is it CALLED “For Boys” then? See this is just one way girls are discouraged from their interest in science and engineering. WHY NOT JUST CALL IT THE DANGEROUS BOOK FOR KIDS? Horrible.
You make a very good point. This kit is based on the book “Dangerous Book for Boys”, and I agree, the term “kids” might be a better choice. They do have a few “girl” versions of the book, the “Daring Book for Girls” and the “Double-Daring book for Girls”, but then why leave out the boys? We need more kids interested in science and engineering, boys & girls alike!

I have to agree that the naming convention is appalling. As a female geek this sort of thing really makes my blood boil.
