I just reviewed a forgotten book from 1990 called Handmade Helps for Disabled Living. The author has a Maker’s spirit the book is chock-full of well-designed and beautifully-sketched plans for everyday adaptive aids. It’s great reading for Makers even if they don’t happen to be disabled.

Looks a great companion book for Fab@Home-type personal fabricator projects.
Thanks Phil!!!
The UK has an organisation REMAP “A network of volunteer engineers and craftsmen who make free one off aids for disabled people.”
