Follow The Arrow: DIY Rustic Serving Tray

You’d think this gorgeous serving tray was purchased at a high-end home decor shop, but you’d surely be wrong! This awesome DIY project was created Ashley of Simply Designing.

If you’ve done a bit of wood working from time to time, you may already have all the required materials laying around, including a few shades of wood stain, and some gold spray paint for that fabulous accent arrow.

Power tools always make for faster and more accurate work. The key to getting those sharp 45 degree angle cuts is using a compound miter saw.

The rustic hardware really sets off the piece and adds a perfect finishing touch. Why not give this a try for your next weekend project?
