Make a Set of These Sweet Wedging Corner Clamps

I love these wooden corner clamps that Izzy Swan just posted to his YouTube channel. They’re an upgrade to an earlier set he’d built years ago.

The current version has the wedges attached to the clamp jig so that you don’t lose the wedges in-between jobs. And these clamps are adjustable so that they now accept different widths of stock.

This doesn’t look like the easiest build for an inexperienced woodworker. And, yes there are inexpensive and readily available corner clamps at Home Cheapo, but if you built these yourself, tell me you wouldn’t get a little squeeze of satisfaction every time you used them.

On ThinkWoodworks, Swan’s site, he has more pics of the build and he’s selling a set of plans for the project for $5. Link: ThinkWoodworks.
