Folded into shape and held together with a couple of rubber bands, the Blinky from d-school pals Liv and Léa holds a standard roll of 35mm film that’s manually advanced using wooden dowels. It’s compact size offers ease of use and the standard film size makes processing a snap.

Perfect for aspiring paparazzi or any portion of the 99% that want to remain a safe distance while diligently documenting #ows.
Simple, handy hack from Flickr user Malowz to overcome the common autofocus problem many cameras have when shooting dark subjects. The lamp mounts on his camera’s hot shoe, and spotlights the subject when the shutter button is half-pressed, giving the autofocus plenty of light to work with, and then turns the lamp off, on the full press, for the duration of the exposure.
