This will allow you to put more than 100 songs on the “iTunes phone” along with a couple other things …hack for the new Motorola ROKR (merging several MP3s into one will let you store WAY more than 100 songs on the DRM enabled phone). Wow, I need to try this – Everything you modify, create or download during a Live-CD session is kept in memory until the computer is rebooted; then it’s all lost. More precisely, it WAS lost until SLAX came out and the new era of portability began… Don’t carry your settings along with you anymore, just remember a secret pass phrase! Link.

Handy…script which runs once a day to get the links for my link blog. It now crawls each link and sends an email to a Gmail account with the From field being the page URI, the Subject being the tags, and the body being a copy of the page. In addition to searching the page text, I can filter by tags by using an advanced search (e.g., subject:python). Now I love del.icio.us and Gmail more than before. Link. Also, check out our list.

Nice to see articles like this from the NYTimes…Many new multimedia notebooks include built-in television tuner cards and software that let them double as digital video recorders. But you don’t have to buy a whole new laptop just to record your favorite shows… Not bad for $90. Link.
Looks like it might be running something other than Windows too – Radio shack is getting in a shoebox sized computer for surfing the web. It appears to be DC powered, has built in Ethernet, modem, VGA, and USB ports. This might make a good car computer if it is truly DC powered! [
