You can wear it on the top or bottom of your palm. It’s good-looking, provides plenty of leverage, and seems like it might come in handy when the guys in black cowboy hats start smashing bottles over people’s heads.

Wow, I can’t say I’d even consider wearing that at work. There’s no mechanical advantage, and the ergonomics aren’t great. I can’t imagine what my wrist and fingers would feel like after using that for a night. There’s a reason that professional bartenders use those long flat metal openers… big flat surface with no parts that will dig in after 500 bottles in a night, and a serious mechanical advantage to remove the strain. The design of this bottle opener invites using wrist motion rather than whole arm motion to open the bottles… that would be brutal. Also, if you actually hit someone with any kind of force while you were wearing that, it would put almost all of the pressure squarely in the middle of the second longest finger bone you have… you’d bust it in half.
