Justine Haupt is a developer of astronomy instrumentation at Brookhaven National Laboratory. She was a primary contributor to sensor development for the Vera Rubin Telescope / Legacy Survey of Space and Time, for which she designed electro-optical test stands. She is currently working on the Baryon Mapping Experiment (a 4-dish, 21cm cosmology demonstrator telescope) and a quantum networking project. Her competencies span optical, mechanical, and RF engineering.
