Rik Kretzinger grew up on a Christmas tree farm outside Lompoc, California, and earned a degree in horticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He has worked building commercial greenhouses, growing tropical plants and roses, and as an ag specialist in the western states. Today he works in biotech and high-tech industries while building his aquaponics business.
